SWEET RELEASE
Mama Tits & The Underwires
Co-starring Diego Guerrero
“Come curious. Leave satisfied.”
Buckle up, because Mama Tits is
bringing the band back, and this time it's dressed in a little jazz, a little
blues, a whole lot of heart, and comedy sharp enough to leave a mark. Sweet
Release is 90 minutes of live music, true stories, and stand-up-caliber
punchlines, backed by The Underwires and joined onstage by longtime
partner-in-crime Diego Guerrero. The set swings from moody jazz and blues
numbers to full-throttle sing-along anthems like In the Air Tonight, Under
Pressure, and Nothin's Gonna Stop Us Now, each one a stop along the wild,
winding, and genuinely hilarious road of Mama's own life.
This isn't a night of gotcha
moments or getting called out — it's a comedy show with a heartbeat:
razor-tongued crowd work, filthy one-liners, and the kind of laughs that sneak
up on you between the music and the real talk. Mama's sharing the stories
behind the songs, the highs, the messes, and everything she's learned along the
way, usually with a joke landing right before the lesson does, in hopes it
leaves you laughing as hard as you are inspired. Come for the music, stay for
the comedy, and leave singing along.
Because everybody needs a little
